Terms of Use
1. About Aleko
Aleko is a driver-assistance app that helps you view monitored average-speed sections and track live progress while you travel. Aleko is provided by the publisher identified on the relevant App Store or Google Play listing for the app.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Aleko, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
3. Informational use only
Aleko is provided for informational and convenience purposes only. It is not legal advice, not an enforcement database, not a navigation guarantee, and not a promise that any road, section, limit, or alert is complete, current, or accurate.
Road signs, road markings, police instructions, temporary restrictions, and applicable law always take priority over any information shown in the app.
4. Safe use
You are solely responsible for using the app safely and lawfully.
Do not interact with Aleko while driving unless it is safe and lawful to do so. Set up the app before driving, use hands-free operation where possible, and always keep full attention on the road.
5. Location, maps, and section data
Aleko relies on device location, map services, network availability, and section datasets. These inputs can be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate. GPS drift, temporary road works, changed limits, weather, tunnels, weak signal, and other conditions can affect performance.
You agree that Aleko may fail to detect a section, may detect one late or incorrectly, or may show incomplete or outdated information.
6. Free and Premium access
Some features may be available for free, while other features require Premium access. The current product structure in the app may include:
- monthly subscription
- yearly subscription
- 1-year pass
- lifetime access
Available plans, pricing, and features may change over time.
7. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and restore
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and renew automatically unless canceled through the relevant store before renewal. One-time purchases do not auto-renew.
Prices, taxes, and billing terms shown by the relevant store at checkout control the purchase. Aleko does not receive or store your payment card details.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play account used for purchase. If supported, the app may open the relevant store management screen for you. You may also use the Restore Purchases action in the app where available.
Refunds, chargebacks, billing disputes, and store-specific subscription rights are handled by the relevant store and applicable law unless otherwise required.
8. No guarantee of avoiding fines or penalties
Aleko does not guarantee compliance with speed limits or road rules and does not guarantee avoidance of tickets, penalties, collisions, or any other loss. You remain fully responsible for your driving decisions, speed, route, and legal compliance at all times.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aleko is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher of Aleko is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, business, goodwill, or use, arising from or related to the app.
This limitation includes, without limitation, claims connected to inaccurate section data, missed alerts, failed detection, subscription issues handled by a store platform, map or GPS errors, or user reliance on the app while driving.
11. Changes to the app and these terms
The app, its features, supported platforms, prices, and these Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
12. Suspension or termination
You may stop using Aleko at any time. The publisher may suspend or discontinue all or part of the app where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, legal, security, or business reasons. If a paid subscription is canceled, access generally continues until the end of the paid billing period unless revoked by the relevant store or required by law.
